As mid-level manager at the company which invented "free" alarm systems, we used this.
Invited to create a radio commercial, it took several hours to get everything set for recording.
Writing out a script, studio arrangements, getting over to the radio station, and all related tasks.
At the outset, it seemed obvious that two commercials would not take twice as many hours, right?
This proves to apply to most every task we ever try, including the singular task of writing the scripts.

It took about three minutes to write down ten reasons for people to come work for Masada Security.
By adding just one paragraph to each, and the phone number, and a few seconds for the introduction,
those ten reasons became more than five minutes of spoken speech. We know this because we taped it.

Instead of going straight to record, ten more minutes were invested in this task that was now a familiar one.
So, although it took many minutes to get approval to spend, get studio time, write the ads, gather up people,
only a fraction of the time required to do it was needed to yield what appeared to be heroic efforts and goals.

Even a simple mind can write a commercial in but a minute or three just by writing down reasons to buy or act.
Whether we are soliciting people come work, or selling a product or convincing someone to help us individually,
it is nothing more or less than a matter of listing the reasons why the listener should do just as you ask or suggest.

RESULT: With barely a half-hour's half-work, seven commercials were recorded, and six were ultimately used.

With only a fraction more time than it would have taken to do one commercial getting 1,200 aired repetitions,
we came up with six commercials aired 200 times each, bringing many new applicants AND new customers.
If you invest time learning to do something new, do not foolishly try it once or twice or thrice.
Your job as a slightly more educated person than you were before, is to do it one of two ways.
First, do it one hundred or more times - if you have done it 100x already, do it 100x a bit faster.

The second choice? Do it one percent better with every repetition while doing it 100 times or more.
That one percent will help you to shatter even more world records than the Godfather of Shortcuts.
